I was checking out Russ Kelly's Ask the Experts update today. Did anybody else read Paula Gordon's comments? (Sorry I can't hotlink) www.russkelly.com/experts.html Under her "statement from Paula" and "New Comments for November"; she depicts Clinton being out of touch with what is going on, even more than she imagined. Cory has an interesting update for November, too.

Clinton must be out of touch. I can't see him facing us with something this big on his mind and not cringing. Never mind the Monica silliness. This is a real thing and BIG.

It was interesting to see so many "experts" in similar fields of expertise, and yet so many "experts" do not draw the same conclusions.

Kind of reminds me of those psychological "experts" at murder trials. The defense and the prosecution both get someone that is renouned and respected in their field as an "expert."

One "expert" claims the defendant was insane at the time of the crime. The other "expert" claims that the defendant was not insane at the time of the crime.

If they are both "experts" in their field, then why don't they draw the same conclusions?

Y2K is like that, there is a lot of validity to the frightening prospect of imminent social and economic collapse, just beyond the horizon, but there is also as much validity to the prospect that the alarmists are overplaying the entire situation. Who do you believe?
