T2 Rom page

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

The T2 Rom page, with all Roms available, will be online later today. When that is done, I'll let Zwaxy know the new addie to switch the link over to.

I have noticed a few things when I have been working on the new tourney page...

One) There is no T2 site, really... No leaderboard, no opening page, and the empty leaderboard still shows 34 points to first, with each getting one less, but nobody on the board. (I entered via the tourney link on the first page)

Two) The graphics have been moved on me! I currently have no link, I assume this is due to the SQL conversion to place graphics of the games on to make the page like the previous tourney page. Chris, let me know where they went.

Three) Should we even be having a tourney with these problems going on?

Four) What exact version of MAME am I to post on the page for use?

Chris....here's the solution to the mystery:

if you've logged via the old link (marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mode=frames&prefix=.... etc), in the Tournament section you'll find all and only the Tourny 1. Instead, if you log via the new sql stuff (marp.retrogames.com/sql/index.cgi?mode=frames&prefix =.... etc), you'll find all and only the Tourny 2, with the first submissions, and the "embryonal" leaderboard.

I personally hope Zwaxy will find the time to give access to all the T1 data through this new link (sql), so to avoid this confusion, and have T1 infos online for "documentation" purpose....

Cicca

PS: You will partecipate to the T2, won't you...!?!?

I went through the tourney page link from marp.retrogames.com No login, no nothing...

I will, but not if I have to use Mame34 (buggy as hell) or Longridge's Mame35TG (Can't use DOS, and I need my pause, watching kids, working on projects, etc.)
