MY local weather service just posted an "Uknown Event" warning that is in effect for the next 8 or so hours. They put one of those out when there are , well, multiple/possible potentially dangerous weather conditions coming into the area.....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

It's too bad we can't do that with the rest of the country.

Put out an "UKNOWN Y2K EFFECT" warning in effect for say, the next 90 or so days. Stay close to your homes...Stock up on supplies and alternate heating sources.... Know your neighbors.....look for facts....

That sort of thing.

Ah well. Wishful thinking....
