Incidentl young man! Garbage cans are sprayed with a fungicide and some even with bug spray at the factory before they they are shipped out plant to the retailers.... Like a little fingicide in your coffee water? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Shakey~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I suggest many cases of canning jars with many more spare lids and a pressure canner. The rifle and shotgun may run out of ammo and you may not want to waste any 4 legged item you down. Hunting every or every other day may become tiresome and attention getting. Keep yourself always several steps of the game.

You're off to a smashing start Ron. Got milk for your cornflakes?

"Garbage cans are sprayed with a fungicide and some even with bug spray at the factory."

I worked at a factory that made plastic garbage cans, etc. and they didn't treat the garbage cans with fungicide or insecticide; the cans went straight from the mold machine to the shipping carton. Restaurants use plastic garbage cans (usually white or yellow for I.D.ing) to store food.

Get food grade liners for your garbage cans if you want to be sure the water is fit to drink. I bought 55 gal liners, but they work fine in 32 gal cans. About 1.75 each.

Ron: May I suggest that you visit the TB2000 Prep site for help rather than getting flamed here?
