By now, you all know that two of the most vociferous opponents to 695 are Rick Bender and Mike Patrick.

Well, in the interests of full-disclosure, there is something else you need to know.

Both of these gentlemen are former legislators.

And both of them co-sponsored the legislation in 1990 that helped to turn the MVET into the unrealistic, without basis in reality tax that it is today.

So, this is THEIR baby we're tossing with the bath water.

I wonder why they've never publicaly mentioned that as they work to lie, manipulate and buy the outcome THEY want to save THEIR bill.
