Old Get and others, thanks for your prayers

I had a biopsy Monday. The results are that I don't have cancer. I am praising the Lord. I didn't want to deal with that now. Again thanks for all the prayers offered on my behalf.

I am so glad for you! Now you relax and enjoy!

Oh great news! That's two, isn't it? Eyes Open was worried about some tests too, but is okay. It surely has a lot to do with the fact that we are as prudent (not hypochondriacal!) about health as we are about preparing for any emergency; we just check out little things before they get too big to handle. I wonder if pollies have regular check-ups or do they just fix on failure?

I beat cancer when I was in my late twenties, got it in the very early stages, so I really do know how you feel. I realized I had changed when I found myself studying and admiring the crepey texture of a rose's petals in a neighbor's garden! First thing I did when wse bought our own house was plant roses! Life is good!

You both are up late too. Thanks again for encouragement. I had been studying alternate ways to treat cancer, glad I don't have now. But I just today I listened to the Chuck Harder Radio Program. He was interviewing Dr. Lorraine Day. She healed herself of cancer with natural methods. Check out her website: www.DrDay.com I have her video "Diseases Don't Just Happen!" If your local radio doesn't carry Chuck Harder, do get one his website to download the broadcast. I have learned so much from him and his guests. He hits Y2k real hard. www.ChuckHarder.com or www.ForThePeople.com He sells cheaply stuff needed for preparadness.

We're waiting on cancer tests too. Can we beat this three times??

-- helen (sstaten@fullnet.net), October 30, 1999.

Damn, three times??? Sorry, Helen. You wouldn't be part of this forum if you weren't a strong person so I know you can handle whatever comes up. The waiting truly is the hardest part, isn't it? An old friend told me to imagine a golden halo around the affected body part, just imagine it being warm and glowing and killing all the bad cells. Of course it was probably a lot of old cobblers but it made me feel better, that at least I was doing SOMEthing.

Let us know the results, okay?

Praise the Lord!

Old Git -- Thanks! I saw a study done where people prayed over petri dishes filled with bacteria. Most of the bacteria being prayed over died, while the control group bacteria did not. They also have developed computer games for kids with cancer where they zap cancer cells, and some doctors think this helps. Visualizing the affected part and praying or sending bad vibes just might work. We've been doing that. It will be a week or more before we know the results of the tests. I'll definitely let you know. :)
