Does anybody out there know of a suitable plant to grow in the garden or hanging baskets to repell flies. We have just completed a lovely outside entertainment area but the flies are horrendous. We live opposite a C S I R O site where cattle are kept. I have tried crushing basil leaves, coating table and chairs with insect repellant, crushing geranium leaves and burning geranium oil, all with no effect. Help!!!

Fill a zip lock bags with water and hand aprox 1-2 feet from ceiling. We have a 4 (one on each corner of our deck and believe it or not it works!
