I can't imagine a winter without this mix. It put all store bought mixes to shame. I used some this morning I made last winter and it is still delicious.

Hot Cocoa Mix: 1-8 qt. box instant dry milk (10 2/3 cups) 1-2 lb. box Nestle's Quik 1-16 oz. jar Coffee-mate 2 cups powdered sugar

Mix all ingredients in very large bowl. 1/3 cup mix per cup. Add hot water to fill cup. Adjust amount of mix according to taste. Keep on shelf in covered container.

Oh MAN...just when I thought I finally had it all together you have to go & remind me that I don't have any powdered sugar. Oh well, it's off to the store again, this stuff sounds worth the trip!

About a week ago I had only 2 scoops of coffee left, and since I had already poured the 10 cups water into the coffee maker, I ran it thru and added 2 small packets of swiss miss chocolate. Man oh man I thought I had invented the best cup off coffee with a twist, it was so good.

If you like those expensive "flavored" instant coffees, here's a recipe for you:

1 part instant coffee 1 part powdered cocoa 2 parts sugar 2 parts powdered coffee creamer

Process this thoroughly in the blender. If you like, you can add 1 teaspoon of vanilla, almond, mint, or rum extract while the blender is going.

The secret is to use a blender. The stuff just doesn't seem to dissolve properly if you just stir it up.

To serve, put about 5 heaping teaspoons in a mug and add boiling water.
