I would like some information on an artist named Frank Martin. I have a print titled Promenade signed & numbered 148/150. The only thing I have been able to learn is he was born in 1921. His work was mainly young nude women. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have a print titled Translantic Merry Go Round by a Frank Martin and I was also trying to find out something about him. Translantic Merry Go Round was a movie made in 1934. This print is of a group of women doing a Busby Berkley type water ballet. Did you find out anything about this artist? Thank you, Margaret

Hi....I too have a limited edition Frank Martin Print....Jessie Mathews (21/50)...I purchased it at an Antique show in Kensington (London) about 14 years ago. I believe I paid about 80 pounds. I haven't been able to find any more information on him however I have found a dealer www.artoftheprint.com that seems to have some info. on him. I also have a signed, first edition of his book....purchased at the same time in London.

So...anybody out there who can shed some light on where we can find more information.....it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
