Many of you know that Chris of the UK and her husband are trying to move to St Kitts island in the Caribbean. Chris has been out there since the first of the month and just went through hurricane Jose. Her husband, still in the UK, emailed me last night telling me Chris was a little damp around the edges, but ok. And for me to take ear plugs as the island is running on generators. So Chris is already getting a taste of y2k. I am leaving tomorrow to spend 10 days with Chris, and chubby hubby just informed me that there is another hurricane in the making. Oh well, I need an adventure right now. Maybe Chris and I will get a little bigger adventure than we planed on, but............. She said to tell you that she misses the forum and all of you something awful. Said she would even welcome a polly. LOL She can't wait for her husband to get out there with the container and the computer. Will report on everything when I get back and let you know what her situation really is out there.

taz, i visited st kitts in 1985 while on a windjammer cruise. it was incredibly beautiful. i remember the strange flora the most.
