Has anyone had experience with the well pump, offered here by the folks in Kentucky, " The Coming Home Newsletter, P.O. BOX 187,Camner, Ky ? I presented the diagram to an engineer who says there is something else needed to complete. If you have had success, please post, Thanks.

Welcome to the board JK! It's about time you dropped in.

From the info we have, you folks @ Weather Mountain are well stocked and do not need a well pump.

Anything else you need help with? Just let us know..

Maybe JK is hedging his bet and building a retreat of his own. After all, once January rolls around and the blame game begins, he might be shown the gate as an example of "expelling the demons".

Hi John --

Your engineer apparently doesn't know a lot about well pumps. It is deceptively simple, maybe he has old fashioned iron/cylinder pumps on the brain.

Like I said in the plans, it works, and it works well. Much better than the old fashioned iron pumps. At last count, I've heard back from about three dozen other folks who have installed them & they are working fine.

Just build it according to the plans. It may look too simple to you, but It will work. I promise.

If you have any problems with the installation or assembly, let me know.

Harbor Freight sels excellent quality pumps made in China for only $25. I have one and it works great!

OK, thanks for the confirmation. Hope I didn't offend you. Heil Clintler! (has a nice ring, don't it?) JK
