This "scenario" would surely lead us to a "real depression". I cann't see the TBTB ever getting this organized, but if they ever did, it sure would be hard on the little guy.

Jim Lord is saying what I have said in several recent threads:

The plan, like it or not, is to have all the chemical plants and refineries shut down for the rollover. And then begin a phased restart after the rollover. The plants already know this.

This prevents having to do load shedding of huge current loads suddenly and without warning; which would cause large, damaging voltage fluctuations within the local system and possibly the grid.

This plan also will make more efficient use of emergency equipment if chemical plants or refineries explode and/or burn due to catastrophic failure during the restart or shortly after.

This virtually insures the failure of "Fix-On-Failure" as a means of remediation. After severe damage has occured with injuries and deaths at some of the chemical and refining facilities, the workers and operators will be very reluctant to restart any additional systems without more complete say-so in safe operation procedures.

Expect a multitude of layoff announcements soon.

The layoffs are coming with a huge ripple effect.

It will be bad. Very bad.

This is a very good reason to PREPARE.

Much more to come, as entire, non-mission critical, business divisions get jettisoned as big corps move to save the core business. This is the plan in some companies.

The jettisoned employees will hit the job markets and soon join the flotsam from companies which will fail completely.

Economically bad, but that was inevitable. Better if people are not blown up and poisoned.

They (TPTB) will never do it, it is political suicide. They would rather be the "savior" after the fall.....
