Organized Crime & Y2K

Haven't seen much discussion about International Organized Crime & Y2K, so I invested time in research and writing. My findings are on my website at http://www.homestead.com/buttecounty2k. Organized crime is very active and dangerous. Y2K disruptions will provide golden opportunies for criminals. Couple the criminals with unsavory aspects of our government and you've got bad news.

John,

Awesome site. Thanks for sharing that information.
Hope the organized crime orgs that you mentioned
aren't too upset about the things you say. :-'

As an aside, I've wondered what will happen if JIT delivery problems start impacting the crack heads. They could get a might bit cranky.

John,

Can you direct my attention to any "savory" aspects of government you may have discovered? I'm still looking.

My understanding is that organized crime and government have always had a symbiotic relationship. The average peon is led to interpret their periodic turf wars as some kind of battle between good and evil (the Kennedy/Mafia conflict a case in point, the K. family being spawned in Joe K.'s criminal racket; JFK sharing girlfriend with mob boss, etc....) Don't be taken in by the puppet-show.
