I just recently purchased After Effects to go along with Premier. I'm ready to take on this venture and make my video footage look like film. Should I also purchase Cinelook? What other options do I have?

hi i use film fx 2. i think that it is better than cinelook but not too sure. it has many 16mm,35mm,and 8mm presets. i use it all the time. everything is changable on it. go to there site and download it http://www.bigfx.com/ good luck

Here's a quick, easy, and free way of getting a pretty damn good filmlook out of premiere. Go into field options and select "flicker removal". Since your video has no flicker, it actually produces a flicker, i don't know why or how it works, but i made an entire short film with this, and no one could tell it was video except for a lens flare from a light in one scene. I also increased brightness and contrast, added a very little noise to emulate film grain, and i desaturated by almost 50 percent. try it and see what you think.

p.s. the better your footage is to begin with, the better it will look with this technique.
