VOTE! Just got back from posting our absentee ballots FOR I-695.I haven't felt this good about voting in quite a while--a feeling of really accomplishing something.
I now know how Von Helsing must have felt when he drove the stake in Dracula's heart.
O.K O.K. I know it's more like a splinter in the toe,but it's a start.
I sure hope that this effort is the imputus for other citizen initiated reforms that are sorely needed.
Any ideas???

I rather enjoyed casting my absentee ballot too. Even if it was designed by some origami engineer!

Ricardo, How about an initiative that says only people who pay the tax can vote to increase it?

MattTried that in California. Had some silly law that said you had to be a citizen of the U.S. to vote. Didnt work to well.
Ed registering the shut-ins for absentee ballots, but my hand is getting tired copying the names off the headstones.
