Amazon. com has temporarily closed it's book, music, video, etc. departments. Could this have something to do with y2k? They give no explanation on their website. Seems pretty odd.

Hey! My car didn't start this morning - Could this have something to do with y2k?

My Zip drive failed this weekend - Could this have something to do with y2k?

My gimpy knee is acting up again - Could this have something to do with y2k?

You Tinfoils are a pathetic bunch - what is clear is that whatever befalls the world over the next few months, the Doomers will jump up and shout "see, see, TEOTWAWKI, just as we predicted..."

Funny if it weren't so pathetic...
