Realtors for I-695

To the editor -- The board of directors of the Yakima Association of Realtors voted unanimously Oct. 6 to support I-695. The costs of government from state to city levels must be brought under control in order to bring relief to property owners and all taxpayers in general. Continuation of our present taxing system will only lead to higher costs across the board, thus driving up, among other things, real estate prices. With the cost of home ownership going up, fewer people will be able to afford a home and fewer yet will look to Washington as a place to live.

Join with us in voting yes on I-695.

Ed - guess there are a few business people that realize the taxes in this state are to high

that's funny ed, I work for T.B. (one of the State's largest Realestate agencies)in Spokane, and I can tell you that we have the complete opposite opinion. We have voted unanimously to oppose 695. before you speak for all of us, why don't you consult the ones who truely drive the business.

That's funny Mark

I never said I spoke for everyone or for all realtors. What I did, obviously you ignored was post a letter to the Editor of the Yakima Herald-Republic from "RON ANDERSON Chairman Governmental Affairs Committee Yakima Association of Realtors"

So your in Spokane and the people who wrote the letter are in Yakima. Why don't you call them and asked them why they wrote it.

Also my last line of the post "guess there are a few business people that realize the taxes in this state are to high" doesn't include you. Never did. Never thought it did.

So before you speak Mark maybe you should reread the post and use some of the smarts you have to become one of the States largest Real-estate agencies to think about what it and I said.

Ed - not putting words in anyone's mouth, their foot is already there.

ed, SORRY!!!!!!! I meant to say, that's funny Mr. Anderson.........

P.S. we did contact them, and they had no idea of this supposed vote. sounds like another fake.

Mark

Then I'm sorry too. All I did was post a editorial from the paper. I kind of figured that the paper would have checked it out before printing it. Especially since it was a business group writing it. The Tri-City Herald has called me to confirm letters I have wrote to them.

And if it was a fake, we don't need that. It does no one any good when people make up articles or facts.

Ed - surfing the Yakima Herald site to see if they is a retraction

ed, don't go to the trouble, I shot my wadd before i got an answer. I'm still waiting to hear from them, So it could be a factual article.
