I wonder why no one has mentioned the fact that 695 will actually *raise* car taxes for those who drive cars that are worth $1400 and less? You couldn't find a better example of reverse Robin-Hoodism if you tried.

I'm in the same boat as Westin. My tabs will go up by $4 or so. But my mom will pay 1/10th of what she was paying on her minivan. And her neighbor will pay 1/40th of what she pays now for her Expedition. Talk about a tax break for the common man (or woman).
