Hand in hand

I think the light was too uneven (too much left, not enough right), but it was the best of a dozen shots. What do you think?

I think you're right, but I don't think it's a major problem. The picture does look a little off-balance 'cause of the dark space on the bottom RHS. But I think it's still a nicely done shot.

I think that's only a slight problem. The sidelighting really brings out the texture, which I like a lot.

The image itself is nicely balanced. Brilliant colors really draw me into the small hand inside the larger hand. Textural quality of the skin is nice. The small hand is soft and innocent the larger hand has the strength required of it. It nicely craddles the childs hand. The emotional response I have is one of safety and concern. Very sweet.
