How do I get the Microsoft Active Movie

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Many people answer me that I have to download the Active Movie, but if I remember correctly that software comes with IE4 or IE3, and I'm using Windows 98 with IE5, how do I get the active movie? Or how do I install an diferent mpeg MCI driver?

ActiveMovie is obsolete. It has been replaced with MediaPlayer.

I had the same problem you did. I did find Active Movie, and here is what happened. (I am using EZ-CD Creator) The program would only let me put 1 MPEG file in. I finally got everything to work by using EZ-CD v3 (v3.5 didn't work) and the Xing Encoder (Player Might Work Too) It was the MCI driver from Xing, but you can only use it with EZ-CD v3. Good Luck
