Interesting shot, if I had had to guess I would have said sunset. Pat

Florida is on the East Coast of the US, and Amelia Island is on the East Coast of Florida. Unless you happen to be on the West Coast of Florida such as Tampa and Ft. Myers, it is pretty difficult to get a sunset shot over the ocean. By the same token, this type of shots taken in California and Oregon are usually sunset shots.

Great addition to a great body of work.

Beautiful sunset shot, but the scan appears to have an unacceptable cyan cast to it.

I agree with Stu!

Another great shot that makes me realize how far I have yet to go.

I really like this picture, it has excellent composition and lighting.

Nice! Almost fools you into thinking Florida has surfing potential! ;) I don't know the island, but if it's far enough away from shore I don't see why you couldn't get a sunset shot over the water from it. I have some sunset-over-the-water-type shots from Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, so getting 'em certainly isn't beyond the realm of the possible.

A nice shot Larry and good composition. I'm not too wild about your frame; I think it calls too much attention away from a nice, minimal element pix. Maybe about 3 pixels wide would work better; but just nitpick'n.
