E-TTL X A-TTL

Hello!

I have had in trouble trying to understand the evolution from TTL to E-TTL. It4s clear for me now to comprehend the E-TTL and the A-TTL flash system but before these how does the built-in TTL flash works in comparision with the other E and A-TTL flash systems?

Thanks for all who ever supported me!

With straight TTL there is no preflash of any type. The flash sensor in the camera body simply looks back at the film being exposed and when enough light has reached it it stops the flash. It usually works well. TTL was a vast improvement over the older "auto flash" before it. This was a much bigger technological step than any difference between A-TTL and E-TTL.
