Can we cut down on the 'gold' posts?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Possibly have one post which can consolidate all the "minute by minute action". While I appreciate the boostering of gold and silver as a portion of Y2K preps, it seems that it is taking up too much space these days.

I will start a thread called "GOLD MARKET INFO, START: 10/05/1999" and we can all dump our interesting comments in there, OK???

There is a gold forum. Those that are interested can read that.

Ezk 7:19

They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their GOLD shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord.

I don't plan on having any Gold, it will be taken from us. Silver on the other hand looks as if you have control of when to use it or toss it out. I sure don't want to have anybody search my place for the Gold.

Why?

Gold is firmly linked with Y2K and has been for years. Now it is moving as predicted. You don't have to read the posts. Why are you advocating limiting others discussions?

Joe.. what makes you think that NOT having gold will keep them from searching your place for it? Ditto for food, guns, etc. The only ones your plan would stop is the 1-900-psychic-hotline police.
