Financial Execs On Y2K

In a recent poll of 273 companies conducted by Duke University's Financial Executives Institute, 98% of financial executives say they don't believe that the year 2000 transition will interfere with the performance of their businesses. Sixty-three percent predict that the U.S. economy will not suffer from Y2K-related problems, and 14% expect a marketwide sell-off of stock in response to Y2K.
