Wendy, I linked every essay to this page just for you because you asked.alanna

Wendy, I deleted all unanswered questions for being unloved. Just use the ask a question option to comment on essays that aren't listed.

Tragically, no...This setup doesn't let me do responses in the logical chronological order. I'm thinking of getting a new forum, but this one doesn't have ads and all the others do. What do you think?

What, you don't like the purple bubbles? i think they're fun.And yes, lemonyellow.com is the same site you sent me the article about - you were right, I was interested.

Hey, alanna - (I love having my own page on which to post messages to you regarding this site!)although I greatly appreciate your having linked every essay to this page, now I can't get to any of the earlier essays to post replies, because for some reason they're no longer listed as questions to be answered.
i have things I want to say....

Alanna -is there a way to make the discussions come out in chronological order?
Right now they are by person, then chronological, and that gets hard to follow - particularly if we get more than one person contributing!
-- wendy (wruhm@compuserve.com), November 09, 1999.
that's too bad. maybe you could ask each contributor to number his/her response? that way we'd at least be able to skim for the numbers.are you first because you're the adminstrator? or because it's alphabetical?
no ads is good - in general, this is probably a good forum to stick with.

alanna,/what/ is with the purple bubbles???!
hey, is lemonyellow that email site I sent the NYT article about to you?
-- wendy (wruhm@copmuserve.com), November 12, 1999.
I do like the purple bubbles - they simply startled the hell out of me. they were all of a sudden following my mouse - and just on that one page. And, I've never seen anything like them before.I finally went to visit lemonyellow, when I saw your link to it, and I really liked a couple of her archived essays - namely, "In which I am nominated for homecoming queen (at whatever high school)" and "Naked on 24th Street" (titles approximate).

Thumbs up on purple bubbles. I'm going to conduct a poll of my own to see what the country at large feels about purple bubbles. This very important question has yet to be addressed in any arena really - except maybe metaphysics.
