Wouldn't it be prudent for those of us who use the internet to purchase on line to remove our charge card accesses prior to Y2K? I am concerned that Y2k will present some interesting opportunities to folks who wish to "access" accounts should problems arise. Not to mention the folks out there who are "fixing" code and installing back doors. Thoughts?

Actually, I have seen posts from people who say that just before 2000 they will MAX OUT their credit cards with CASH ADVANCES, with the intention of quickly paying back the money if things hold together in January, otherwise having a boatload of cash to weather out the storm if things don't.

Seems pretty risky to me....
