That web address does not exist.............try again.

Also, where do you get this crap about designer plagues from cancer labs?? Which lab is producing designer plagues? Have you called the Surgeon General and the police about this because if it it true, they really should know about it!

The link is pointless. I heard the government is coming up with some "flying donkeys" to take over and rule the world. www.flyingdonkeys.com

Al-D,

Don't stray from the Bible, Al-D. Horowitz is a kook, IMHO. But if you would like to buy his special oxygenated serum for about $20 a liter, go right ahead.

Trust in God. And stick to the Bible.

When you heard this were you alone? Maybe voices in your head? If you state something it is always helpful to have a link to the fact, otherwise you are being your typical self. LIAR!!!

Quoting Mr. Bill287:

"When you heard this were you alone? Maybe voices in your head? If you state something it is always helpful to have a link to the fact, otherwise you are being your typical self. LIAR!!!"

Hey Mr. Bill287...You're wrong....very, very wrong. The following link will scare the hell out of you....http://cryptome.org/bioweap.htm

This link connects to two articles that Richard Preston (author of "The Hot Zone" and "The Cobra Event" both superb reads) wrote for the New Yorker. Just finished the latter book which, although a fictional work is hugely based on fact and details much about biological weapons development around the world. Ken Alibek's book book is, sad to say, non-fiction

Ken Alibek was the #2 man in the Soviet bioweapons program before his defection to the U.S.. His book "Biohazard" is one of the scariest things I've ever read and I have independant confirmation of some of the facts that he states in the book. Another poster mentioned a book on the possibility of future plagues; I belive she's refering to a book titled "The Coming Plague" which while rather dry reading is technically superb.

I'm a county disaster services worker and recently discovered that we have no knowledgeable local resources for dealing with epidemic outbreaks. Since then I've been studying up on epidemiology and virology...and it's cost me a few nights sleep. Ignorance really can be bliss....

Most of the money spent on cancer research is from NIH grants to basic and clinical researchers at universities. The rest is from endowments at private institutes and from charitable organizations such as CaPCure, the ACS, and the American Lung Association.

Each grant awarded to each primary investigator is no secret. The researcher's subject and progress are also public. You can access the information yourself, probably online. It is all public, because you, the taxpayer are paying for this.

As someone fairly close to the business, let me assure you with 100% certainty that nobody in a US "cancer research lab" is designing a bioweapon. If you don't believe me, look up the information yourself. I have no idea what the army is doing, but our country is obliged by treaty to neither create nor maintain stocks of bioweapons.
