Report: Detroit Has Computer Problems - (DETROIT) -- The City of Detroit's multi-million dollar computer overhaul is being stymied by failures of leadership and training. That's according to a report released to the city council yesterday. The "Detroit Free Press" says the 70-page report calls for city officials to undertake an immediate set of of stabilization measures to make the 80-million-dollar system run smoothly. The report blames human error for most of the system's problems.

Right. Blame the humans! (Ultimately, that is where the blame should be placed, though. The only question is: which humans to blame?)

The yahoo report was from Sept 21. Perhaps DFP has already filed their story in the memory hole.
