Clinton says still getting spiritual guidance

WASHINGTON, Sept 28 (Reuters) - President Bill Clinton said on Tuesday he was continuing to consult spiritual leaders who have been counseling him about the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal.

He said he had been "profoundly moved" by the forgiveness shown to him by his family and others. He made his remarks to religious leaders attending the annual White House prayer breakfast.

Hmmm... but what's that got to do with the price of cigars in Cuba?

Like the time he went to church to "pray" about what to to about the partial birth abortion ban bill? He vetoed the bill. What god was he praying to?

Probably Aleister Crowley.

Beware of any president who when leaving the funeral of Ron Brown is caught on film sharing a good laugh, but when he realizes the cameras are on him, sheds a tear for the cameras...

Also beware of any president who attends a church service and "waves" his bible to the media upon leaving said service. (Lookee here, I got my bible with me, I am a "Christian")

Lastly beware of any president that splits hairs on the meaning of "is".

He is the only president that I have ever seen blaspheme. It was at the democratic convention of 1992. He was delivering his acceptance speech. Please recognize that this was not a slip of the lip for two reasons: 1) He was reading the speech and 2) The news said that he had delivered it the day before to his staff in order to practice his delivery.

"And as the good book says, Eye has not seen nor ear has heard the things which we can build." The last part was said with emphasis and the audience cheered.

But what Isaiah 64:4 and I Corinthians 2:9 (quoting Isaiah) say is "Eye has not seen nor ear has not heard the things which God has prepared for them which love him." Clinton's quote removed "God" from the utterance and replaced it with an undefined "we" which could mean his administration, the government, he as president, etc. To replace God and substitute a man or men is classic blasphemy.

The most surprising thing about all of this was that the theologically brain-dead media totally missed it. To this day I have never seen a single mention of it.

What irony, the man who blasphemed about the things which we can build will be the president when the clocks strike 01/01/00.

then there's the time he talked about giving america a "new covenant" as if he were some kind of old testament prophet, a direct emissary transducing the power of God. sounds like he believes in the divine right of kings.

Hitler was very religious in an occultic sense. Many powerful people are also. We underestimate the Luciferians by associating them with the crude Satanic rituals practiced by others.

<< What god was he praying to? >>

Moloch. He too says, "let the little children come unto me."

<< He is the only president that I have ever seen blaspheme. It was at the democratic convention of 1992. >>

Let us not forget his reception of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ at a Catholic Church in South Africa. If you understand what Catholics believe about Holy Communion you'll understand what a blasphemy that was.

Forgive me for being skeptical. I find it hard to believe that a proven liar who would go to church on sunday and then return to the WH to get serviced by an intern approximately young enough to be his daughter, would be sincere.

Maybe he's sitting in on Hilary's seances with Eleanor Roosevelt.

I wonder who wrote his speech...

Well, if anything, Clinton has proven himself to be a typical Christian.

"Go to church on Sunday and then go back to the WH and get serviced by an intern."

Well, at least he didn't GIVE the sermon on Sunday and then go get serviced by an alter boy afterwards. You have to give the guy that.

Hmmm, Christians calling other christians hypocrites. Interesting irony.

Methinks you have your categories confused.

This is in fact Christians (with all of their particular sins/problems) warning each other of a wolf in the midst. This is a very dangerous situation for the church, the nation, the world, and most of all for the undiscerning.

Freak:

Please keep posting. You amuse me. A 'christian' who approves the killing of partially born babies called partial birth abortion? What planet are you from? Why don't you go back to your tolerance cult and swap ideas with them? I think you would have been very comfortable in Nazi Germany, where most of the clergy endorsed the Nazi Party.

"But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.' Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? And, 'Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.' Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? Therefore he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. And he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him who sits on it. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, 'If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not hve been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.' Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your father's guilt! Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?" ~ Jesus ~ Matthew 23:13-33
