Mines will go up many times physical. So if you think markets will survive, that's where the money is to be made.

ANDY.....

This whole Gold Mining Company Stock deal has me a little confused/worried.

I know you have read-up on the massive gold leasing(and suddenly high interest rates) and that prior to the banks announcement yesterday, Armstrong (I think that's his name) was in the pit trying to cover his shorts(pun intended)...this caused a slight run-up in the price....and then we didn't hear any further about him. Then Sunday night we get this wonderful news..oh Happy, Happy Joy, Joy!!

Now it seems to me that since a lot of the mines could only keep their heads above water by selling forward at $300 that would imply that........well, what would what imply??? I smell a rat here but I can't quite put my finger on it (interesting imagery).

It almost seems like we're being duped again...Which mines have sold forward their production...They would have to deliver at 300 wouldn't they??? can they operate profitably at that level? Will they have the capability to produce at all if Y2K is factored in?

I know we're seeing a squeeze here...but we have also seen them wiggle out of squeezes before ....Doesn't something here seem a little bizarre ... T. Blair unilaterally decides to sell BOE Gold..England pitches a fit, Africa raises hell...Gold manipulation is hypothesized and law suits are queing up to reveal ?????

I don't think we should ever under-estimate our enemy...and that is exactly what I consider "them" to be.... Maybe Talbot is not the idiot he seems to be ...maybe he just knows something we don't.

Also, why didn't Buffett buy gold instead of 179 million ozs. of silver?
