Martial Law is O-kay! You'll like it, even...

There was a small FYI infoclip tonight on the TV show 48 Hours, that presented martial law in a positive light. They told about (and showed smiling pictures of) Indira Ghandi who, due to some personal embarassment, decided to declare martial law as a distraction. The people were outraged about it and ran her out of office, they said. Then, they changed their minds and voted her back in.

So, see. Martial law isn't so bad after all, ok? We're just being silly geese over nothing! Nothing!

Yeah...you'll like the concentration camps. Remember summer camp in high school. The guards in the guard towers that are armed with sniper rifles are there to keep bad people out.

Here...take this prozac and watch the big movie. Step right up and get your ID chip.

Isn't this fun?

I've seen a lot of stuff on how to hide your food and guns, but nothing on hiding people. If it got so bad they were hauling us off to camps, assume that there aren't enough spaces for everyone, so only certain types, fundamentalist Christians for example, would be taken.

I think it would be especially important to make plans to hide children, since they would be taken by 'social services' to encourage their parents to conform.

I might start a thread on this if I can do so without being seen as a paranoid nutcase.

Can't they just use those heat-sensing devices to "find" anyone? Would tin foil foil that plan?

At about this poin in time I reccommend that you study insurgency / counterinsurgency war fare and "start the dance" Charlie!

Becuse you have nothing else to loose at that time.

Later on Indira was murdered by one of her Sikh bodyguards...

I would just like to know where they are going to put all of us and how are they going to transport us to the place and who is "they" anyway? There are not enuff cops, NG, Army, Navy, Marines, AirForce and UN troops to round up and care for 250 million people. We can't even take care of North Carolina for God's sake. Where ya going to put all of them? Feed them, house them, bathe them, water them, bathroom them, clothe them, etc. Ever read Andersonville?? I am not saying that they might now do something in rioting cities. They will have to and the people will be begging them to do so. I think this martial law things has gone a bit around the bend. They can't even find missing hikers in our woods, how "they" going to run all us good ol' folks down. We are the ones who know our way around out here in the forest.

Thanks, Zoobie. Let's not forget that's more than a metaphor.

Taz,

They don't have to round up everybody, just the ones who would lead a resistance. Or they could take the kids for special schooling, and the parents would behave.

You don't need to have overwhelming numbers to control large numbers of people.

Also, we don't have large numbers of American forces, but there are lots of people out there who would be delighted to shove some Americans around. We suspect that there are even persons who would provide transportation to bring them here.

We're not going to speculate more, because were chicken.

Taz-

I would like to agree with you. But then, I thought about how the Nazi's did it. Just start small, with a few people. Oh, and don't have any crazy ideas about them actually FEEDING and CARING for the people in these camps...after all, it would be a lot easier if all those troublesome people in those camps just died of, say....CS gas, or anthrax, or just plain good old, fast-acting lead poisoning. The world really would be much easier to manage if there were less complaining slaves around anyway.

Oh, and then lets remember that WE (the USA) did develop the Neutron bomb. You know, the bomb that is designed to kill as many people with clean, short half-life (figuratively speaking) radiation, and it leaves the structures and surrounding city largely intact. Wouldn't Y2K be just a GREAT time to test one or ten of these baby's out???

Oh, and don't forget about FAE (Fuel Air Explosive). That stuff is great for the biggest non-nuclear explosion. Best thing about these two methods is that you get a LARGE # of people killed off, AND the body disposal (and resultant deasese factor) taken care of at the same time. How's that for American Ingenuity D@mn we are good!!!

Please don't try and say "But, that *CAN'T* happen here." Small scale events like it already have. Just look around you.

Excuse me, I have just made myself sick to my stomach. I have to go throw up now.

P.S. I almost forgot....all the above can ALSO be blamed on those bad, bad Terrorist's. 'Cuz as we all KNOW, our Good 'Ol Boy Federal Government wouldn't want to kill any of us Sovereign Citizens.
