Ridiculous arguments

greenspun.com : LUSENET : I Wasn't Built to Get Up at this Time : One Thread

What ridiculous arguments have you had with people? Maybe it was over the tiniest thing and neither of the parties involved would budge, or was it originally a big thing and it ended up being over the colour of someone's socks? Don't bottle it up, let it all out!...

Well, I'm currently having a really ridiculous argument with my online friend Maegan. For one particular thread (or Fred) of an e- mail, I decided to write everything in brackets. She said, "No brackets." I said, "Hey, I'll bracket if I want to!" She said, "I'm in charge of this e-mail." I said, "Since when?" And it's all getting really rather nasty. I hope it ends soon, because brackets are my starbois. (((((()))))

I argue with my sister a lot over silly things. And the thing is, neither of us will drop it, because it's usually over a misunderstanding, and we want to make each other understand. It never works, though.

Aside from that, I often have arguments with people who are dumb and insist that something is right even when it's not. Like one girl in my old class who thought ChumbaWamba was Australian.
