I think this is an extremely well executed image. Just something not entirely jiving with me (how's that for useful critiquing?). I think my eye wants to see a little more space at the bottom, or a little less centered composition, but, again, that's minor to me. The left side looks a little bright, but I think it's balanced very well. I think the blue and green work well together here.

I like the sidelighting. It gives a dramatic view to what may be a less noticed subject in full light. Good eye! Donna

The background is important here too. If it were black, then the photo would be less interesting. Brown contrasts well with blue, and, due to larger plants (trees), we associate brown and green. So: Color contrast AND luminance contrast. Each provides a contribution to the overall effect. Good!
