Which way is it?

Another quick question, Eyman has always said 'I-695 will pass in November, just look at the polls". Now that the polls are are showing decreasing support, he says in the Seattle Times, "people shouldn't put too much weight in the recent flurry of polls". Which way is it Tim? Do we, or do we not look at the polls? Can't make up your mind? Just like you can't discuss the facts? You will only say it's scare tatics, when people do try to discuss the facts. I guess that's an attempt to write off the "fact" that you just don't know what the facts are.....hmmmmm....... "We want change also, but we're not crazy". Vote No on I-695

We realize that you want change, Mike, all the new government taxes and spending you can get. Because that's the signal you are going to give politicians if this measure gets defeated, more MVET is OK, higher sales and property taxes are OK, a state income tax is OK.

The polls recently were of 400 and 500 people. I don't think this was a real poll. A real poll is when 100,000+ people are involved.

You can however be part of the largest web poll though that will allow the most remote voter a chance to be a part of it which started 9/21/99.

Visit: I-695 Web Poll and cast your vote. One vote per computer/visitor only.

Sandy,

Web polls are hardly reliable and should NEVER be considered as an accurate reflection of public opinion. And a sample size of 100,000+ is not only unrealistic, it's unneccessary.

I don't doubt the validity of Eyman's polls or the opponent's polls. From what I've read, both were conducted by respectable groups with knowledge of statistical caluculation of public opinion.

The most important thing to look at, however, is the date attached to each poll - after all, as we move closer and closer to November, don't you want to know the most recent measure of public opinion (that is, if you choose to pay attention to these types of things

Yes, real polls are real people. The polls on the net, well, anyone can stuff the ballot box there.

That's the one I'm interested in seeing.

Dear, Concerned citizens, Mike Powell, Craig Carson, Mark Stilson.

Good job Sandy.

First of all, Concerned Citizens is a mouse as he/she doesn't use their real name. Coward!

Second, Mike, Craig and Mark should spend less time helping big business defeat the regular Mr. & Mrs. Millers out there who are just SICK, like me, of paying for a stadiums and not for schools and roads.

I-695 doesn't take away the money from the coffers. It does stop our representatives from taxing us without our permission. I don't need my representative telling me what I need because I know what I need. "... I don't need at stupid $500,000,000 statium..."

"...Run all the polls you want,... I'm voting YES..."

William writes:

So you want money to go to schools and roads instead of stadiums but you're voting for an initiative that takes away money from schools and roads and has absolutely no effect on money that goes to stadiums? That's interesting logic.

If you want money to go to road construction you certainly shouldn't vote for 695. It does away with $2 billion in road improvements.
