Dilutions of Xtrol for Konica Infrared

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I am about to start a trial and error construction of development times/temperatures for KONICA 750 (Infrared B&W) using Kodak Xtrol developer.

I have always used one-shot procedures. My question is this:

KODAK lists times for common films with dilutions of 1-1, 2-1, and 3-1. My guess is that 3-1 might be a tad more forgiving, but result in a bit more grain.

The cheapskate within me is likely to be seduced by 1-3. Any advice in this regard would be appreciated.

The best advice I've gotten for developing Konica 750 is to handle it like plus-X.

I hope you mean 1:2, 1:3. I know you do. Let us know how it comes out. James
