We've all seen the horrible bride's maid dresses. We've witnessed the lousy food. We've heard the cousin sing off key renditions of "Wind Beneath My Wings." But what did you witness? Tell me about the worst wedding you either attended or took part in.

I'll start with a minor one. I knew a couple while in high school. They got married on Christmas Eve. The wedding colors were red and green. The bride's boquet had blinking lights.

My brother was my best man. Celebrated a little too much before the wedding. Was a half hour away from his hotel room and the small MIssissippi church in which we were to be married. He checked the ring one last time before he left...closed the box...and the ring rolled out. He didn't notice. Twenty minutes before the wedding, he said, "Hey, where's the ring?" I said, "What do you MEAN where's the ring?" in a voice and glare that would poison pit adders. We took the fake ring off the ringbearer 's, the little plastic one. It's what she wore on her honeymoon.--Al
