Mole

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Hello.Lately every time I make-up a new raised bed,it is disturbed by a series of surface runs. The tunnels are smaller in diameter than the average mole size would warrant,so I suspect it's a shrew mole. The neighborhood cat has been stalking the suspected mole, but can't seem to catch it.The cat probably got a poor education.I don't want to kill the mole, but if I catch the little @##!! in the act I might commit a rash act. Thanks

My mother had a bad mole problem. She went to a junk store and got alot of those tacky yard ornaments that twirl in the wind. She put them in the gardens and along mole trails. Now no moles. Seems the wind turning the yard ornaments sends unfriendly vibrations to moles in the ground.
