Y2K, treat it like a secret!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Have you ever watched how fast a secret spreads? And how everyone believes it? Maybe if everyone began treating it like a deep dark secret . . . . well, it was worth a try . . . sigh! Even with it getting so close, I find myself getting weary. I better go out and buy another bag of beans.

I am residing in northwestern Ohio, and the DGI quotient is about 99%.

The DGIs know the latest football and soccer scores, but they don't know squat regarding Y2K and the forthcoming Crash of '99.

And they don't care. They really don't care.

Can you refrain from screaming, "STUPID IDIOTS"?

Randolph, I live in Southwestern Ohio and the DGI's are about the same 99%. It's pathetic and I am tired of the complacency. Since we moved to semi-rural in February I keep a closed mouth.

Don't come a knockin on my door!

I don't blame the public. It is a secret!!! It's a secret and shameful to talk about!!! So how the heck could they know?

This reminds me of a thread from a while back.

Sometimes I feel as if I'm part of a secret club
