on some threads it says OT at beginning of thread - what does that mean? I'm a newbie and im sure there are many other newbies and/or lurkers that need these abbreviations used explained - dont wanna be in the dark no more - Thanks

It means Off Topic. (As in gold, waco, hurricanes, etc. Often these off topic items can be interesting measures of how people will respond to Y2K problems, instances where governments lie about other issues, or social and economic things that may contrubute as related factors.)
