This may have been addressed before but has anyone seen this site regarding an implantable id chip (into the palm of the right hand) sponsored by Golbal Monetary?

Iridium chip - Lucent - Smart Card on its way. Cashless society. Already tested. Mondex is the developer of the Smart Card mainframes. Sounds like science fiction, doesn't it? Truth is often stranger than fiction. You don't have to believe it yet - just remember - so when the time comes you won't be surprized and uninformed like so many will be.

lparks,

idchip.com was proven a couple of months ago (after a firestorm here) to be an elaborate joke. I don't remember where, but there's a hidden page somewhere on that site that says basically, "OK, you caught me!" I suppose you could search the archives.

Don't believe everything you read, and none of what you hear.

You were right. Checked into this better. Under employment opportunities, one of the quals is anyone gullible to believe this experiment.... Sorry for the wasted post! Feel free to delete, sysops

The only thing that makes the implementation of this technology unlikely is the cultural resistance to it. And they're working on that little problem.

With the advent of nanotechnology, these things will soon be microscopic. We'll probably get them at birth.
