'SpaghettiOs Pass Y2k Compliance Test!'

Pasta-Shaped '2's' Added to SpaghettiOs to Assure Maximum Fun Levels of Operation in the New Millennium

CAMDEN, N.J., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Franco-American officials ran a SpaghettiOs. Y2K compliance test at 12:01 AM on 9/9/99 to make sure that all product will operate at maximum fun levels in the Millennium. SpaghettiOs passed the test with flying colors due to the addition of pasta-shaped 2's to their trademark Os so that official pasta 2000's will be formed in each bowl of SpaghettiOs.

``To comply with the demands of millions of children, and the young at heart, SpaghettiOs added pasta-shaped 2's in preparation for the new Millennium,'' said (Kelly Maher, Franco-American SpaghettiOs, Marketing Manager). ``Today's test confirms that SpaghettiOs will be enjoyed for another 35 years and beyond.''

The limited edition ``SpaghettiOs 2000'' are expected to be on supermarkets shelves nationwide from mid-October through the end of the century. Specially-marked SpaghettiOs 2000 foil sparkle labels will be used to flag the 15-ounce cans of plain, meatball and franks SpaghettiOs that contain the pasta ``2's.'' SpaghettiOs 2000 will also feature an on-label game, in which kids can win $2,000 instantly!

The new Millennium will be important to SpaghettiOs for another reason: the year 2000 marks SpaghettiOs 35th anniversary. Since 1965 SpaghettiOs has answered the call of consumers by providing a good food that kids love to eat. As the first canned pasta product geared specifically for children, SpaghettiOs were created with a sense of fun in mind -- so kids would really enjoy eating them. SpaghettiOs quickly became a perennial best seller, winning the hearts with parents and children alike. Today, it remains the number one selling kids canned pasta, with an average of 250,000 pounds eaten every day of every year.

How is posting this article not taking y2k serious? And is that another prediction I'm seeing from you? No wonder you don't sign your name. Afraid of being dead wrong like all the other 99 predictions?

Where, the problems are coming dude, just be patient. It's called the Year 2000 problem for a reason. You are the one who is uptight, I can tell!

Mr. Serious,

Cherri, you think this Y2K thing is a big joke, don't you?

Do not judge me by your standards. You do not have the capability to understand what I think of Y2K.

As is the case with such blank statements such as you the one you gave, saying it in no way makes it a fact.

One thing you have done by your statement is to show me that you have given me the power to irritate you.

Cherri, I can only judge you based on your postings, and I do not believe that you take Y2K seriously at all. If you do, you sure don't act like it.
