Bloomberg TV declares Y2K over???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

While channel surfing yesterday to check out the markets I caught the tail end of a Bloomberg staffer stating the reason for the big rally yesterday in tech stocks was due to the fact that Y2K is over for these companies and it nothing but blue skies ahead. The statement caught me off guard and I hope I captured it correctly. Anybody else see this staffer report this?

If I remember correctly Dave, a few months ago you predicted that the public panic would hit in September 1999. It looks lie you have hit the nail square on the head!

I hear Gore is offering $55.00 per gun so he can buy more gun than Clinton. If you act in a jiffy, he'll even give you $80.00 in y2k supply gift certificate but only if you give him all you food. This way he own more food than ol' Billy Bob Klinton, and he own more gun than ol' Billary and he can than hijack the white house, and make ol' Bubba the official white house car washer.

Memories, September isn't over yet so Y2K Dave could still be right. Cut the guy some slack!

y2k dave, I guess they mean that the quarter for which IS budgets will be frozen is virtually over? Obviously we are talking bottom line here, in the world the analysts are living in. This has no relationship with the real world, believe me.
