All right....... who's the hacker?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : I-695 Thirty Dollar License Tab Initiative : One Thread

What bozo put a link on the no on 695 page for a phantom initiative 697 that, if clicked, brings people back to this website? Naughty naughty, and not needed either. The no on 695 argument is dying on the vine, without anyone torpedoing it.

We have new converts from I-697 to the I-695 cause.

Westin- Monte-

Shame on you both. You know that in a battle of wits, the No on I-695 people are only HALF armed. No need to cheat when you're going to win easily. Recall Joe Kennedy's advice to his son, "Don't buy one more vote than necessary Jack, I'll be damned if I'll pay for a landslide."

Gary..It wasn't a hacker. Vesella is the 'webmaster' of the no site and his spelling is a little off. You would understand that if you looked at his Princeton website. It's easy to misspell 695 as 697 especially if you have a printer that is good enough to print fake ids. http://www.princeton.edu/~vessella/ (Tom's Main page)

http://www.princeton.edu/~vessella/reviews/reviewsindex.htm (this one is the infamous Vessella review of the Epson printer and the 'quality' fake IDs)

The truth is that I contacted the webmaster of the I-697 site and explained what was happening and he changed it. Keep watching it. He has agreed to help our webmaster put up additional material on I- 695.
