What is your local radio station saying this last week?

This last week there has definitely been a change in y2k reporting on both NPR and commercial radio stations. Every nite there are tidbits, about the fifth or sixth report into the news, and things I've never heard any broadcaster talk about before. Such as, two nights ago a report on NPR that 28 nuclear reactors were not compliant, and that there was some worry that brownouts or blackouts might happen. Is this the start of the War College's plan of informing the public? The herd here isn't responding to news, so maybe the heat will have to be turned up more soon, like the second report on the evening news. Anyway, I want to know: what have you been hearing in your area?

We have heard more too. But...its all the stuff to keep the herd from moving.

The Govenor of Md heard recently from his Y2K task force that we don't expect any serious disruptions but the state police and Natl. Guard will be in uniform just in case. (feel better? I knew you would)
