Stockpile information, says Bennett, prepare for a summer hurricane-- a few cans. Don't rush to the bank to take out your cash. And for goodness sake, don't rely on the government.

Comment on NYC unpreparedness. "We don't want to let the administration of those cities off the hook." Sure, the fed government has a vested interest in our large cities, but... (the heck with them).

Test medical devices? Sure, go ahead--of course the VA etc. have said not to. Some of the questions are good. But the BS will flow.

The reason the cities have to stay on the hook is it ain't a real big hook and it gots to be filled. As long as the cities are on it, then the Fed Gov ain't.

"We had problems on April 9, 1999 - only you didn't hear about them".

Keep the posts coming! Thanks!

Bennett sez: We in the U.S. are gonna be fine. 3 days, winter storm blah blah. Some parts of the world: England, Europe, China, Russia and latin america ain't gonna do so well. My question is, How much of the world is left that are going to be ok? All in all, it wasn't the most optimistic press conference I have seen. It did leave the casual viewer with the idea that we "horders" are going to be blamed and for God's sake don't take your money out of the bank.
