VCD = 352x240 @ 1150kb/s Bitrate using MPEG1 CBR Compression SVCD = 480x480 @ 2520kb/s Bitrate using MPEG2 CBR Compression XVCD = 480x480 @ 3500kb/s Bitrate using MPEG1 CBR Compression * XSVCD= 720x480 @ 9800kb/s Bitrate using MPEG2 CBR Compression * SxVCD= 352x240 @ 1150kb/s Bitrate using MPEG2 VBR Compression

* = for ALOT more details check http://www.vcdhelp.com/xvcd.htm as XSVCD also uses VBR, but most people use CBR, I just used the most common settings i've heard, the bitrate is also variable in XVCD and XSVCD, I only wrote the MAXIMUM tested Bitrate to show the diffrence in formats.

NOTE: The resolutions i've mentioned are NTSC standard, not PAL!
