is y2k part of the plan to gain control

"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order [referring to the 1991 LA Riot]. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond [i.e., an "extraterrestrial" invasion], whether real or promulgated [emphasis mine], that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government."

Question for those of you who seem to be worried about UN/outside forces coming in to take care of the rioters etc. on rollover.

Where are these troops going to come from if the rest of the world is in as bad shape or worse than we are? They are going to be suffering the same lack of military people and policing people with an equal or greater amount of discord in their own countries. No way will anyone be coming here to help. It will be the same here. When there is a hurricane or a big ice storm, utility workers from neighboring states and occationally the NG was called in. Come rollover, if we are all in the same boat, there will be no one to call in from neighboring anywhere. Therein lies the problem with the 3 day storm story and why, if the grid goes down, it won't be three days or even a week to get it back up. The NG cannot be containing riots and shutting down road to ease supply lines and supplying staples/gas and helping get the power up all at the same time. There just aren't enough of them.

"There just aren't enough of them."

Correct. I won't be a bit surprised to see Clinton send even *more* of them out into foreign lands to continue babysitting the world, either.

Hmmmmmmmm

Will,

Did you object to previous administrations using our troops in foreign lands or just this one???

-- y2k dave (xsdaa111@hotmail.com), September 05, 1999.

y2kdave,

No, just WHY he uses them!

Thanks homebody. Sorry y2k dave, that was my last post of the day and couldn't get back. I also object to the way our current administration has treated our troops. In the case of Clinton, they've been 'used' to his personal advantage, rather than the best interests of the country. They're not the only ones.

I also think Kissinger was correct in his observation of the majority of the American public, and it concerns me greatly. My focus has not been to simply prepare 'individuals' for y2k induced crisis. We *should* have been prepared as a 'country'. Why on earth did this administration reject doing that? Why has this administration done so much to weaken us as a country? I wish someone would take the little red button away from that psycho. I think Clinton fears our troops.

Will,

What president hasn't used troop in his own interest when the time was right? You say national interest but that is in the eye of the beholder. Was Kuwait in the national interest? NO WAY. It was an oil issues and old BUSH used it to his advantage. But he wimped out at the end and couldn't make the final call. Was Somolia in the national interest? NO WAY Bubba. So you see your national interest and personal interest are interrealted in most ways. But its only now that a STUD is in the White House that you Object to loud.

Sorry, I believe oil is a paramount interest to our country. I agree Clinton may not have been the only president to use our troops. Who did Nixon bomb in an attempt to divert attention from his problems? Whose bush was Bush found in that created his need to distract our country by calling up Desert Storm? Reality check my friend. Clinton has no honor and is beyond hope for moral fiber. He'd sell his mother down river just to keep his power. If the man had ANY dignity, respect or love for his country, he would have resigned, but noooooooooo. Screw the country, he wasn't about to give up his crown. He's a weasel, a worm, a spoiled, self-centered brat with a big IQ. He's a crook who surrounds himself with like-minded scum, and places crooks in powerful positions to help further and cover up his crimes and his little wife's too.

It ain't about sex, if that's what you're implying. Hopefully, you're far more imaginative than that. Clinton is above and beyond the most DANGEROUS president this country has ever seen. Get over it my friend. I don't know if you're attempting to defend him or not. If you are, you might be interested to know that Andy claims KY Jelly is now compliant, you'll need it with Clinton in charge.

"Where are these troops going to come from?"

Well, if you are spending any time at all watching TV, you will hear some real gems, like the one I heard tonight on 'the O'Reilly Factor' show on Fox News. He was interviewing a democratic attorney who had been attempting to stop the Clinton sanctioned illegal immigration of tens of thousands of criminals to this country. This attorney (sorry, forgot his name) had the FBI agree to give him files on many of these criminals, and good ole Janet Reno stopped the effort.

Do you really need to ask where the armed forces are going to materialize to bring this country to it's knees?

-- OR (orwelliator@biosys.net), September 06, 1999.

Oh, and for those of you who are legally challenged;

It is illegal to allow immigrants into this country with a criminal record. ERGO, Clinton and his trick pet poodle, Janet Reno are once again sanctioning illegal activity. I personally have lost count how many laws they have broken.

So sorry if this bores anyone. Truth is sometimes a real choker on your own personal reality.

Maybe somebody could just 'sneak' in and paint the red button a different color?

Good grief......somebody do something, anything! Is anybody hoooooome? Stan......would you give Jodi Foster a call to see if she has any obsessive admirers? Ya never know.

:)
