Jules Verne.

A recently discovered manuscript of his also depicted 20th century Paris, in a very accurate way (Verne was French).

Jules Verne, mid 19th century French author.

BTW, Verne was a science fiction writer, who mever made any claims of being able to predict the future. It was only long after his death that people began to see connections between his writing, and the way things really turned out. It's been a long time since I've read any Verne, but I don't recall the date 2000 ever coming up, in any significant way.

See that guy behind you with the gun to your head?....No? Then move on.

Here's a clue: The subject line contains the word "prophecy". That means God will enter the fray. Get it?

I saw Jesus last night. He was walking with Elvis with a grain grinder.
