Oceana Herald Journal letters to the editor

They printed *some* of the responses in their paper edition.

They also have a survey on their front page. Seven participants, mostly broomish.

If you look at it from the other side, Mr. Purvis maybe did a good thing. The responses so far may have the effect of making others look into the problem a little more.

After all, if it isn't a problem, why are so many people spending so much to fix it?

That is not the best way to get people to wake up, but it may get some of them out of their recliners to save their lives. And this is a good thing.

[Does Martha Stewart have a copyright on that phrase?]

Complete the survey at their site. Only take a sec. So far the most say "Major problems for a long time."
