Are there any GI's in Charlotte, NC area? The mayor doesn't get it, the city manager doesn't get it....and no one on the staff of the Charlotte Observer gets it for sure.....

Meander on down to the Merchandise Mart the weekend of Sept. 18-19. You'll find a GI or two at the y2k expo there.

As for all those other people you mentioned- BWAAHAAAHAAAA!

Hey, sk. I'm in Charlotte and I defintely "get it". Not many groups around these parts, though.

You're right about the City and the Observer. But alot of folks I know are quiety preparing, so hang in there!

Yep, University area. Local news is a joke on just about any subject you care to name.

I live in outside of Monroe, and I'm the only GI in my immediate area. Even the people at work I've bombarded with documented evidence/information are either to stupid or apethetic to get it. Most just say they hope things will be OK. I tell them "hope" is in this case is nothing more than "delusional optimism". Some have said they will have a couple of days of food and sodas on hand for the roll-over. The Kosky "party line" and Peter Jennings has them very much brainwashed. Needless to say- I'm well prepared. The "uncertainty factor" was enough for me to protect me and mine.
